The Indian Navy is inviting applications from unmarried male and female candidates for the Agniveer (MR) – 02/2024 batch. Eligible candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination with at least 50% aggregate marks and must be born between November 1, 2003, and April 30, 2007. Agniveers (MR) will serve for a duration of four years and will receive a monthly salary of ₹30,000, with fixed annual increments and additional allowances. The selection process for the Agniveer (MR) – 02/2024 batch involves two stages. Stage I is the Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET), which is a computer-based online examination. Stage II includes a Physical Fitness Test (PFT), a written examination, and a Recruitment Medical Examination. Candidates must pass each stage to advance to the next. Indian Navy Agnipath Scheme Details for Agniveer MR
Agnipath is a revolutionary Human Resource Management system for the Indian Armed Forces, including the Indian Navy. Candidates selected through the Agnipath Scheme (MR Entry) will be designated as Agniveer MR in the Indian Navy, a distinct rank separate from all other ranks.
After serving four years, all Agniveer MR personnel will transition back to civilian life. However, those who leave the Navy will have the opportunity to re-join the Navy in the regular cadre based on the Navy’s requirements and established standards. Each Agniveer MR’s skills will be documented in a certificate, which will be added to their resume. A centralised board will transparently review these applications, and no more than 25% of the original batch of Agniveer MR will be selected for permanent enrollment in the Navy based on their performance during their four-year service period.
